Immediate opening for full-time beef cattle herdsman on McCullough Charolais Ranch, a small farm in beautiful Stillwater, right next to the cleanest lake in MN and the beautiful St. Croix river. We are a small farm operation in business for over 40 years. This is not a management position.
Qualifications:
3 years experience - with extensive knowledge in farming, cow/calf expertise, including nutrition, however; AI, mechanical aptitude & crop experience is a plus. Also, self-starting, highly motivated, honest and with a strong work ethic.
Benefits:
A three bedroom home + some utilities, good pay, calving bonus, 1/2 beef & 1 hog per year, 401K + matching contribution. Would share the work with another farm worker who knows the farms.
